Comments:
With the recent warm weather and Summer just around the corner, I couldn’t help but put together a "Summer Mix." The admittedly rather narrow theme
is artists/groups that I have seen live in Martha’s Vineyard over the last few years (with one very obvious nod to the past). I wasn’t sure whether
or not to share this one but I think it came out pretty well so up it goes.

Best Show – Jimmy Cliff at the Atlantic Connection, a very small club with a balcony. Fans left more energized than they arrived. He played over 2 hours
and greatly exceeded expectations.

Worst Show – Blind Boys of Alabama. They clearly fell asleep on the ferry ride over and never woke up. So weak I didn’t bother to add them to the mix.
I know they have some fans on Dime but not me (anymore).

Honorable Mention – Dickey Betts and Great Southern. Tremendous show but he doesn’t allow his music to be shared here. Also, Great Big Sea were great but
I haven’t seen any shows anywhere.

On a sad note for music in MV, it looks as though Outerland (formerly Hot Tin Roof) will not be opening this Summer. A couple of years ago the Atlantic
Connection (where Jimmy Cliff played) went out of business and it is now Ryan Family Amusements (which my kids of course love). I’m keeping my fingers
crossed for some good shows nonetheless.

All the tracks have been normalized and mixed so it sounds more of less like one continuous concert.

Thanks to all the uploaders who made this mix possible especially dannydude who uploaded the Ben Taylor.
