Ravenna Bypass
- Heading west on the Burk Gilman:
- Veer right just after 25th onto Blakely
- After two blocks, at the "T" intersection, go left on 55th and then immediately right onto Ravenna
- As Ravenna turns left up hill go straight into an alley which parallels the main road and also turns uphill
- When the alley ends turn right and cross a pedestrian-only bridge on 20th Ave. NE
- At the end of the bridge turn left onto 62nd
- Stay on 62nd for one block after crossing 15th.
- Turn left on Brooklyn until you hit Ravenna again (a short block)
- Turn right and head for Green Lake in the bike lanes on the left side of the street
- Go on around Greenlake on Greenlake Drive and continue on Winona to Aurora
- Cross Aurora and continue on Winona as it curves south and becomes Linden.
- Turn right on 73rd and continue to the top of the ridge, cross Greenwood, and turn left on First Avenue NW
- Alternatively, for a longer ride with much less climbing, instead of taking Winona to get across Aurora, continue on Greenlake Drive N to 83rd (there is a stop light at Aurora). Make a Left onto 83rd, cross Greenwood, and make a left onto First Avenue NW
