We did the same ride (“Sheridan” – Northgate > Lake Forest Park > Burke Gilman > U Village > Ravenna > Green Lake X2 > 83rd > Green Wood – 28 miles / 1,000 ft. elevation) on three different tandems.
Here are the results:
Ibis – 10.1 mph
Rodriguez – 10.2 mph
Litespeed – 11.3 mph
I’m surprised that the Rodriguez wasn’t faster – we may have started out slower because it was colder out that morning. Overall, not too bad for a couple of old folks in the middle of the off-season. We’ll improve before we head out on another tour.
