Little Tahoma

On July 17 & 18, 2010 Jerry, Alex and Carrie set out to climb Little Tahoma as preparation for the Bailey Range.  Jerry thought he was recovering from a cold (which he’d had most of the week) but it turned out that he wasn’t exactly recovered.  He bonked just after Summerland and the other two got out ahead on the climb up to Meany Crest.  The route chosen may have been more direct than the route Jerry had done before, but it was steeper and the team eventually gave up at about the 7,000 ft. level where they camped and practiced cravasse rescure.
