Compilation info

Scorching collection of Early Pakistani dance music taken from original 7″ soundtracks 1967 – 1975. Thanks to the diligent work of compiler Florian Pittner, we’re presented a prime and revelatory selection of instrumentals which would normally be found found listed as either “Dance Music” or “Theme Music” on vintage Pakistani film soundtrack vinyl. As anyone who has checked the excellent Finders Keepers editions from this epoch can attest – the discos of Islamabad must have been wild spots in the late ’60s and early ’70s if this music is anything to go by.
