The only signal processing applied to this recording was manual click removal.

I think I got all the big ones, and a mess of the smaller ones, over several weeks.

When I found myself repairing flaws I could see but not hear, it was time to stop.

Some clicks, pops, and other vinyl artifacts will remain. Slight hiss is evident

from the source tape and/or the PA system and amplifiers, but the fidelity, recording,

editing, and performance are all very good without any “for the time period” caveats.

The source is stereo, evidently a reasonably well balanced soundboard mix. Debbie and the

boys are tight, with a little more dirt under the fingernails than on the studio albums.

This offering represents Sides 1 & 2 of a double LP bootleg, also released as

a single LP bootleg called Headlines (Lunar Toones/Australian Light & Magic).

Sides 3 & 4 have also been released as a bootleg called Little Doll (Barbie Records),

but that material is either King Biscuit Flower Hour or officially released material.

Sides 1 & 2 were apparently recorded at Paradise Ballroom, Boston, 1978-11-04.

Side 3 & the Funtime medley are apparently from a KBFH broadcast, Dallas, 1979-12-01.

The Demos have been officially released on various collections, and are not included here.

The French version of Sunday Girl was released on 45 RPM vinyl, and probably elsewhere.

Cover and label scans sourced from the web, but that’s what my copy looks like, too.

** Bang A Gong is among the bonus tracks on the 2001 reisssue of Parallel Lines reissue.
